As I was getting ready to come in to InkHead Promotional Products this morning, rummaging through my clothes, I came upon an old friend who’s seen much better days. My Tom Petty concert shirt is on its last legs… or its last arms, I guess. It’s pretty worn out from wear after wear since I bought it after seeing Petty and the Heartbreakers on the Echo tour some ten years ago or so. It’s gone the way of my Police concert tour shirt from 28 years ago and my Fleetwood Mac shirt from, oh, the Pleistocene Era. I’ve seen a lot of concerts in my day, and picked up a lot of T-shirts, but those three were my all-time favorites. What did they have in common, besides showing my age? All three were beautiful 3/4 sleeve raglan baseball shirts, stylish and comfortable and unmistakably cool.
Although the baseball tee has never gone out of style among ballplayers, as streetwear it peaked in the 1980s and then never really came back until recently, where now we’re starting to see it again in regular clothing stores. And it occurs to me, especially now when we’re about to slide into fall, that Promotional Raglan Baseball Tees make a great item for anyone looking for alternatives to the same old T-shirt. With virtually the same imprint area as a regular crewneck tee, the baseball tee has the nifty ringer collar and complementary colored sleeves to add punch to the shirt’s look. Definitely a bold statement with high visibility.
Check out all the Promotional Apparel InkHead has to offer — our selection is huge and we’ve just upgraded our apparel-ordering process for your convenience. I don’t go to as many concerts as I used to — ticket prices are outrageous — so my collection of concert tees will continue to dwindle until I’m left with the world’s coolest collection of washcloths for my car. But I’m happy to see the baseball shirt coming back, and I believe the people carrying your brand or message out there will be, too.
