Now that we have made embroidery, screen-printing, and full-color heat transfers available for all of our Custom Corporate Apparel, we can decorate items in ways that weren’t possible before. That said, just because something is possible does not necessarily mean that it is advisable. All three decoration methods have their advantages and disadvantages.
In an effort to inform you before you initiate the ordering process, we have prepared in-depth Imprint Information Guides for both embroidery and screen-printing. (Another guide for heat transfers is still being prepared; we will let you know when it has been published.) Each guide strives to provide an overview of the imprint method as well as the advantages and disadvantages to each. Additionally, the guides review the costs associated with each imprint method along with what critical information you should bear in mind when selecting that particular imprint method.
Below you will find a brief excerpt from the overview of each Imprint Information Guide as well as a link to view the guide in full over in the InkHead Knowledge Base.
|“Embroidery is one of the most popular decoration methods for apparel, mainly because of its durability and high perceived value. The cost of embroidery is priced by stitch count, generally in increments of 1,000.” Continue reading »|
|“Screen-printing is the most common form of apparel decoration, mainly due to its versatility and cost-effectiveness for large orders. The cost of screen-printing is driven by the number of colors (and thus screens and runs through the printer) in your imprint.” Continue reading »|
Now that we have made it possible for you to choose from multiple decoration options when customizing your apparel, it is important that you are familiar with the benefits and drawbacks to each imprint method. The new Imprint Information Guides are meant to provide you with the necessary information to make a smarter decision when trying to choose the imprint method for your Personalized Company Clothing.
