John's 13-year-old son was diagnosed with Type 1 juvenile diabetes just last year, and the family decided right then to participate in the walk. Their team needed to raise sponsorship funds, and so of course everyone here at InkHead (and the company itself) donated to the cause. The walk was held this past Saturday, October 18th in downtown Atlanta, and we're all glad we could help fund research into curing this disease. John says his family had a great time participating in the walk and they hope to do it again next year!
