These laser pointers were a hit as a promotional item! The laser is quite bright - testing it out in a fully lit room, the red beam was easily visible on a wall 30 feet away. With the slim design, these could easily fit in a briefcase or pants pocket. The carrying case, as shown in the picture, does not close or latch, so it should be effective in preventing scratches but will not prevent the item from falling out if it is stored upside down. The battery cover pops up slightly - maximum 1mm - from the back of the pointer because the case is plastic. This does not affect the function or feel of the item, but I expect that the plastic may deform after you change the battery multiple times.

I had a rush delivery for 75 of the slim laser pointers with customization for my company. Not only did they have them to me right on time, but the lasers looked great! Adding our company name on the lasers was a great touch for one of our promotional gifts.
