Kelly and her family attend the LLS Man and Woman of the Year Kickoff celebration.

It’s almost been a month since we last checked in with Kelly Napier (my how time flies!) and her Man/Woman of the Year campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Thankfully, she was able to take a few minutes out of her busy schedule to answer a few more questions about her fundraising efforts.

How much have you raised toward your fundraising goal thus far?
Great question! Actually, the amounts we have raised are supposed to kept secret until the event is over on 6/8/13. I can tell you that I feel very blessed and very please with how things have been going the first four weeks! People have been very generous giving to this cause!

Are there any new events occurring that you want to tell us about?
Yes! We are holding our community garage sale this Saturday, 4/27/13! It will be held at my home in Marietta, GA. The time frame will be from 8:00am – 1:00pm. I hope to see a lot of people there! There will also be a give back night at the West Cobb Chili’s restaurant on 4/29/13! See the flyer to learn more.

Why should InkHead customers donate to your campaign?
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has done amazing things for families who are suffering with Cancer. The research strides they have made have been tremendous. Any amount you donate would be appreciated. Your money will be going to a wonderful cause! Please consider making a contribution which will have a positive impact on others lives today!

Want to help out? Here’s what you can do.

Together we can all make a difference. If you want to help Kelly in her campaign, attend one of her campaign events or you can make a donation through her donation page. If you can’t afford to make a donation right now, don’t worry. The Man and Woman of the Year campaign runs until Saturday, June 8th. Be sure to come back to the InkHead blog, as we will check back in with Kelly in another couple weeks to see how things are going!
