2011 PPAI Expo Wrap UpPosted January 17, 2011 | About InkHead.com
In case you missed the news last week, InkHead Promotional Products was at the 2011 PPAI Expo, the promotional product industry’s biggest during which time we were awarded with a Gold Award for eCommerce & Technical Innovation; a Bronze Award for Functionality & Usability; and a Best of the Best Website. If you read that post, you will remember that I promised some more pictures from the show.

Aside from social media and mobile advertising, one of the hottest topics at the PPAI Expo was QR codes, which are specific matrix barcodes (or two-dimensional codes), readable by dedicated QR Barcode reader and camera phones. Codes consist of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data. We will be discussing QR codes in-depth later this week, but here are a couple of pictures of promotional products featuring QR codes.
The Bottom Line
Although the PPAI Expo is over, InkHead Promotional Products is still excited about everything we learned while we were there. We look forward to sharing with you some of the new ideas and new products we discovered. Also, we wanted to let you know that InkHead’s Big Kahuna Chris D’Agnese and VP of Sales & Marketing Jim Franklyn will be at the ASI Show in Orlando next week, so be on the look-out for us if you’re planning to attend as well!
