The Red Dawgs Refuse to Heel

Soccer Ball

It’s Tuesday, and that means it’s time to talk about football…European football, that is!

The InkHead Red Dawgs continue their unparalleled dominance in the First Division of the Atlanta District Amateur Soccer League (ADASL). In what ADASL billed as the “game of the weekend,” the Dawgs handily beat AC Silverbacks 3-0 with goals from Theo Koebel, Carlos Lozano, and Matt Bennett. Keeper Chris Deved kept a clean sheet despite an earnest second-half effort by AC Silverbacks to get themselves back in the game.

This victory puts the Red Dawgs in first place by themselves in the table and bumps their goal differential all the way to +13. The Dawgs take on the 2-3 Real Pish this weekend. Despite their record, Real Pish have shown themselves to be no pushovers, namely in their spirited loss to Majestic, the one team to have beaten the Red Dawgs, last weekend.

Special thanks to Atlanta Footballnet for reporting first.

Go Red Dawgs! See you on the pitch this weekend!
