It Ain’t Bragging If You Can Back It Up

Recently much of this blog has been about tooting our own horn here at InkHead Promotional Products, what with the Inc. Magazine rating and the site upgrades and the public appearances and all. Of course we don’t see it as hubris; we see it as exciting news about building a better company and passing that news on to potential and returning customers. Besides, as the legendary pitcher Dizzy Dean once said, “It ain’t bragging if you can back it up.”

We’ve just learned that Jim Franklyn, VP of Sales & Marketing, has been named to PPB Magazine’s annual list of Best Bosses.

PPB is a trade journal for Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), so Jim has been recognized by our peers as a top leader in our industry. According to the announcement, PPB was “looking for industry pros who create a great work environment, manage by empowerment, mentor and challenge their direct reports and make work a joy,” and that’s Jim to a tee, a 25-year veteran on and off the road who has led our sales team for close to two years and brought about some extraordinary growth.

So congratulations are in order for our point man Jim Franklyn. InkHead’s success ain’t bragging because Jim and the entire team are here to back it up.
