Allan Gray, a South African investment firm, hosts recruitment events on college campuses each year to identify potential future employees. They offered their flyers in the form of custom imprinted ties that could be worn by students. The front of the tie featured Allen Gray’s corporate logo, while the back included information about the recruitment drive. This is a unique and effective use of promotional apparel to both increase brand recognition and to convey pertinent information about the event itself.
